Portable Petroglyph Pendants by Stephen Lee
I recently had the pleasure of meeting a very unique Artist, Stephen Lee.
Stephen has many fascinating qualities but what I found most admirable is how he creates beautiful pendants using natural materials, hand tools, and tools he crafts from recycled materials. He uses NO electric powered tools and, for the most part, uses materials that can be found (such as river stones), recycled (bicycle spokes for punching tools), or traded for. Stephen Lee is an independent, environmentally friendly Artist.

Below are some photos of a pendant that Stephen Lee made for me. He was kind enough to include photos of the engraving and micro-pecking process he uses to transform bland stones into magical petroglyph pendants. I am amazed at his dexterity, eagle eye and discipline to make it without the use of any power tools.
If you would like one of Stephen's Pendants here is a link. Stephen also makes wonderful Wind Whimsies and Walking Sticks.

AUTHOR - AGNES FRANZ
I am a great admirer of Agnes Franz! For the past 20 years she has shown me how to look at life with a sense of humor. Agnes is an independent writer and editing professional who lives and works in Prescott, AZ. She has written "Historic Prescott" and 2 humorous books called "Smirk Vol. 1” and "Smirk Vol. 2” that are assemblages of witty, quirky quotes. She has just finished a new book called "What's So @$#! Funny? Humor and How It Gets That Way " - I can't wait to read it. You can find all of her books on Amazon. Agnes was an advertising director at Rodale Press, then ran her own publishers' advertising rep business in Arizona. She edited and published Classified Communication, a business-to-business newsletter on trends in advertising. The newsletter was peppered with relevant quotes and quips. Those brief afterthoughts later became the grandparents of her SMIRK books. Franz studied journalism at Charles Morris Price School of Journalism and Bethany College. She had a brief career as a newspaper reporter, was editor of a multi-language magazine and later turned to advertising. I first met her when she was a SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) business counselor. She helped me start a screen printing business when I lived in Prescott, AZ. Agnes Franz has an intense interest in the many aspects of American communication. She loves words and is excited by what they can accomplish. Laughter is paramount. Her friendship has taught me to always look at the humorous side of life. __________________________________________________________________________________ Tips on How to Start a Successful Jewelry BusinessRena Klingenberg is one of the best resources anyone could ask for when it comes to realistic, contemporary advice on how to make jewelry, sell jewelry online, sell jewelry in art festivals, or start your own Personal Shopper Service for jewelry customers.
